A beautiful show at Dooin Gallery

Two weekends ago I was fortunate enough to make to to Rocky Schenck's art show at Dooin Gallery. Rocky is a famous music video director and photographer that captures the lost glamor essence of Classic Hollywood. With his haunting collection, Rocky illustrates an interesting combination of emptiness and yearning. Each picture demonstrates a want to connect, but a realization that everything is unique, everything is strange, and everything is curiously beautiful. He got some notoriety for the pictures of Kurt Cobain's daughter, Francis Bean Cobain, but overall, Rocky's work is truly one of the greats in our lifetime.

Here is a set of pictures of Rocky's show.

Big bold letters of the famous artist
Information about the artist. It might be good
it might be bad, I don't really know.
Yep still don't know what that means
yeah... no

The whole area was neatly placed together

There was a slide show in a strange little room

it really showed the history of Rocky's work

Rocky's work was advertised in five magazines!

Really fantastic

You should really go to Dooin and see Rocky's work!
