So here is the long awaited "my trip to china part one". I know it has been a while, but I've been dealing with a lot which has deterred my wants to post anything.
It all started with the airport at Dalian. Dalian, I suppose, is a major city in China. There really isn't much to say about Dalian except it's pretty ugly. However getting off the plane at Dalian I came to one sudden realization, China is super polluted.
I've heard news reports about the pollution in China but I never really contemplated it. Yes, I do live in a bustling city, but I never experienced a burning sensation in my eyes wherever I walked, I never experienced a constant migrane, and I never experienced not seeing a blue sky.

As you can see here the sky is white. This is actually not a mistake of the camera shot but a reality of China. They do not have blue skies. What the chinese experience is the blank reminder of the damage they caused to their part of the world.
This reminder happens every. fucking. day.

The weirdest part about China was the copious amounts of people that wanted to take pictures with us. I guess we were the spokespeople for the white community, or we were some strange monster that came out of the lagoon, but we had about several photos taken of us with families.
This is the christmas one
While at the Forbidden City, a large amount of guards came. Everyone thought it was it was for show but THEN THE GUARDS STARTED CHARGING AT US! They were yammering away something in Chinese and basically we ran for our lives.
We survived.
These couple of pictures is more of a warning. I took several photos in this park thinking I took some great action shots only to realize they're all blurry.
You have been warned.
